Enter the percentage of vertices you would like to have for your lower quality LOD in the ratio line.
I dont know what to enter here ?

orangemittens, i'm working on importing an helmet but when when i use it in the CAS it behave weird, because it deforms moving the neck and the shoulder sliders or the fat slider. The weight is correct and the vertex paint was done correctly (007F00). What I'm doing wrong?

missiepooh45 you append blender file that you created separately. If you worked in another program like 3DS Max you need to import the item (I use .fbx format when I export items from 3DS Max). What program did you use to create your accessory?

Then you probably need to check this tutorial, it explains how to create a simple accessory earrings and import them in the game. It's very detailed. Also I would suggest to watch different videos on youtube so you will know what other tools can offer blender.

Hi. I am just about to start modelling a necklace from GoT. Now I have huge issue about. This is what blender render looks like.(forget about the unfinish tail) And now this is what in-game looks like. I have imported LOD00 mesh successfully but others just not. Also my texture did not came out well. I chop the dragon head and body from one huge dragon so the texture pic contain also other parts that no longer use in the necklace, cant be bother to redo the UV... In addition, the shadow...still showing the original EA necklace shadow. The whole thing have more than 2500 vertex and 4500poly, dont know if this is where the issue came from.

hotchocoliel umm you always need to redo UV in some way and position it on specific tiny place on UV map, please see here what I am talking about. And you need to edit the file with shadow resource (it's one of RLE 2 resources on Warehouse tab) either by baking new shadow ( this tutorial by SLYD can give an idea how to do it) or just simply importing an empty .png file in place of old shadow. I believe that poly count isn't an issue in this case, it's high poly but not that crazy high. Would be interesting to see .package and .blend files.

I saw the UV template on the other thread. Do I need to put the same UV texture on both necklace slot? Or could you explain to me what those slot do?

Hi all, I converted some basegame decorations into accessories (like the simray from GTW EP) following the wonderful tutorials on the forum. It all went well, they work perfectly in game (altough they are very shiny, but I kinda like that). In blender I came across the same problem described by this user {Spoiler} After I clicked the Assign,My item is not assign selected to this joint.I'm sure I selcted the item when I click the Assign. But it doesn't work. ;-|I don't know why Every accessory I made has this issue. The problem is that I made them to make some poses, and since I can't move them correctly in blender, I can't make the poses as accurate as I wanted. This is the blender file of one of them, if you want to take a look. I cloned the item using s4s. I replaced the mesh of an accessory (the right ring) with the mesh of the decoration following this tutorial, I set the weight bones, the paint, redid the uv, the lods. What did I do wrong? ç_ç

akuiyumi I didn't really understand what is the problem but I got a feeling that you want to adjust a position of the accessory so it will work in poses? If If yes, then check this thread. Inabadromance shared detailed instructions.
