Hi! :D This isn't really a big issue, but it's been bothering me for a while and I thought I would see if anyone else knew what it was or how to fix it. In Blender 2.70, which I typically use for weight/vertice painting only, there's the option to select "View" and then "Front" so that the camera looks directly at the model from the front, like so: imgur.com/cN0saBJHowever, when I try to do this in Blender 2.78, it doesn't get to that point. It goes sort of to the front, but depending on how I have the camera rotated before, it never goes to the "actual" front like in 2.70. imgur.com/SIwzOGSIs there a solution for this, or is this just how it is in the newest Blender? It's okay if that's the case... I just find the front-facing camera in 2.70 much easier, but I can do without. Thank you!

Hi! Press 5 to change the dimension of the camera in 2.78. 2.70 has it too, but it isn't "on" by default.

Ive just reinstalled windows and I have no blender yet to confirm what I am saying, but the veiws are Perspective and Orthographic, dunno which is which, been modeling for years and still get them mixed up (its in the top corner of the blender window orth or perp or summit like that it says when you toggle 5). From memory though in blender options there is a box you can tick so it always goes into Perspective or Orthographic.
