I'm trying to make some recolors of some in game clothing, specifically clothing originally made for female sims that was later updated to be allowed for male sims in that large update for gender.
I couldn't find any options in s4s to show the meshes for the male versions of this clothing, and when the original mesh is put into the game it uses the female mesh on both body types.
I'm still pretty new to making recolors, but searching around didn't seem to bring up anything about this?
Edit: Solution is to use "Add CAS Part Swatch" ! It will still only show up under the original gender flag when searching in s4s, but it will be on the correct meshes in game!

As a side note, I'm getting odd graphical grossness on the edges of my texture (also shows this in s4s) I'm not certain where the pixelation or these are coming form since I'm working directly off the game's texture. (Also realized I forgot to say I'm using the latest version of s4s, as I had downloaded it a few hours before the original post)

I think if you want to edit female clothes for men, you just add swatches to the original clothing for females? Have you tried that?

Yeah that was my thought when I only saw the female versions of clothing! Unfortunately, when you do that, it still uses the female mesh in-game when you switch to the other frame. Edit: to show the difference, the first picture is the clothing I want to be using but doesn't show in s4s, and the second is how the top ends up when I use the options available in s4s:

Oh, I did not know that :( I have no other idea on how you would do this then, hopefully someone else knows how to or can shed some light onto this.

MightbeMagic I got it! I was looking at your package, checking if it was restricted for opposite genders- which it wasn't, but I was just look in the warehouse and noticed you had geometry in the .package which didn't make sense because it's just a recolour. Anyway, I recreated your recolour but in s4studio, I used 'Add CAS Part Swatch' and it worked! So, if you want to do this again in future, make sure you use that option, and it should work. Here's the link of one I made - simfileshare.net/download/319575/
