is blender 2.76 compatible even for Marvellous design or does it also need blender 2.70? thank you!

You will need Blender 2.78 (it's already downloadable) for all the normal stuff and Blender 2.70 for the weight transfers, it's easier there.

What stardust-sims is correct.
Also Marvellous Designer itself doesn't need a specific Blender version because when you export your clothing, you export as an .obj and that'll be the same in any Blender.

thanks but I was wondering about the weight transfer because I know that 2.78 blender can get problems I have 2.76 and I do not know if it's good for weight

You can download 2.70 in zip version on the same page you downloaded your version (it's also linked in S4S' download post) and run the program through its exe file instead of installing it. I personally suggest using 2.70 for weight transfer. I find it the most reliable.

Never gave me problems, but now I use 2.76 which is compatible with Studio, doesn't crash and also can do uv_1 transfer so I don't have to jump between versions. |
