I would like to create new swimwear for female children. I would like to do this based on a „plain” body template for female child, which is „whole body” (that means, NOT only Top and NOT only Bottom) - like the Swimsuit for female children from the base game. My problem is, that I can't use the swimsuit for female children from the base game, because their Mesh is too complicated - this is because of „decoration” - My english is not enough to describe this, so I show what I mean by picture, where I tagged the things that make trouble because I'm not able to remove them properly, with black circles: www.image-load.net/show/img/oRoXbpmxAW.jpgDresses can't be used for this, because their mesh is not applicable for swimwear. I tried finding with search function but didn't found the right one. Is there such a template for female children's swimwear, that does NOT have things like that what I tagged with black circles in the picture (link above)? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure they are meshed? I think those details are in the texture, so you can just export the .png and delete that detail from the swimsuit.

You need to put "nude" in search field, this way you will see nude top and nude bottom that can be appended and combined in one file.

Are you sure they are meshed? I think those details are in the texture, so you can just export the .png and delete that detail from the swimsuit. Unfortunately not. When I export the „Diffuse” as .png, then edit it using „paint.net” (where I repainted the top area of the swimsuit itself, and I deleted the ribbons, which where located to the right of the swimsuit in the diffuse .png), then reimport the diffuse .png, the result looks like this: www.image-load.net/show/img/j1YZuxHpCn.jpgwww.image-load.net/show/img/o6A9nbLvSA.jpgI don't know how to remove this ribbons properly. I also tried to use the „make blank” button for the „Shadow”, for the „Specular”, and for the „Normal”. But this doesn't help. When I use the other female-child-swimsuit from the base game, I get similar troubles with the asterisk on the top of the swim suit, which is obviously „3d”. You need to put "nude" in search field, this way you will see nude top and nude bottom that can be appended and combined in one file. Unfortunartely there is no such, unique and clear bottom body for CHILD. When I Select „Child” as „Age” and search for „nude”, I get one top and two bottoms. I tried it with this both bottoms (not both at once of course, but once with the first oft the two bottoms, then deleted the package from my Electronic Arts\Die Sims 4\Mods - Folder and then tried with the package with the other bottom), but they both don't bring suitable results. It looks like this: www.image-load.net/show/img/PHvlm4AlQX.jpgThis is my .png file, that I imported as „Diffuse”, as I dit it for a first test: www.image-load.net/show/img/Oi6zZlbAFl.pngIn the Studio, it looks like this: www.image-load.net/show/img/QXasJc0aom.jpgOn the right side I see my imported .png image, but it doesn't appear in the 3d preview. I selected the bottom to be „cloned” like this: www.image-load.net/show/img/ddNojLUeKm.jpgHere is the .package - file: uploadfiles.io/538ll(Since I can't find the right bottom, I can't append and combine it with the top.) Could You please send me a suitable „plain” template for female children's swimwear?

Hi! You have to export a nude top and a nude bottom. Join both meshes and import them into a FULL BODY OUTFIT, not into one of the packages you cloned to take the nudes from. AND, you have to export the base game full body outfit you cloned to check that both blends ( your newly joined mesh and the outfit) have the same amount of mesh groups with their respective cut numbers. If you want someone to take a look, then share your blend file not only the package. Other way is only exporting the nude top and appending it to the outfit that you want to modify. You cut the top part you want out and join the two meshes on one singular mesh group. Unfortunately, the tutorial that explains about frankenmeshing (mixing two meshes) has image issues... but here's another one, maybe you're missing the "how to" cut and join part properly.

Now I found out that Sims 4 Studio's Search function works misleading in some way. It is the reason why I couldn't find the „nude bottom” mesh for children until today. When the search fields in the header, a Gender is selected („Male”, or „Female”, but not „All”), then result does not contain any „nude bottom” for children! „Gender” must be set to „All” to be able to get this „nude bottoms” for children! Maybe this is because for children the same bottom is used for male aswell as for female - but I think the search function should show such „both-gender-things” even if Gender is filtered to only one gender! Now, finally I'm able to find the needed „nude bottom” (But I still think this behaviour of the Sims 4 Studio's Search function is misleading.) A youtube video, that I have found by chance, inspired and helped me to find it despite this: It helped for this even though this video has no comments (neither spoken nor subtitle), so special thanks to Youtube-User Qvoix for this! But, since I couldn't find the „nude bottom” mesh for children until just before, I could not yet export and join the bottom with the top, because I just didn't have the needed bottom (to combine it with the top). (As described in my answer from Oct 9, 2017 at 11:37pm , trying with the results I got first - not knowing the trick with Studio's search function, of course didn't lead to a satisfactory result.) @ inabadromance : Only the second way you described could be done without having this bottom, as this tutorial uses a full body outfit and a top only. It is a good tutorial, but to follow it, I think I will have to wait until a weekend, where I don't have any other things to do for all the weekend But since I finally could find the needed bottom I will first try just to append and join the top with the bottom. Anyway, thank You for your help.
