Hello everyone! I must say that I'm just a beginner and this will be my first mod. I won't be telling about it right now but there are things that I need to learn such as adding buffs to objects, making custom skills and club perks. For example, I made a book and want to add it some buffs so everyone who read them can get a different moddlet. Some will be based on their traits also. And about that book, I recolored a debug item and cant find it in game under build and buy I have to type the cheat in order to be able to buy it. Is there anything I can do about that too? How to make it visible under the catalog without using cheats? How to add buffs and make skills/club perks? Can you give me some advice please I'm desperate to know. Thank you for all of your answers.  |

Hello Furkan . Can you please not type your main message in a color or weird fonts, its hard to read :D As for making your book visible in game without a cheat, in s4s click on the warehouse tab, click on object catalog and look on the right for DevCategoryFlags. It will have a number like 000000B0, just change it to 80 and save (s4s will ad the the extra zeros) As for the buffs I have no idea :D (someone will though) |

Oooh, I didn’t know... I don’t usually add colors or anything but thought it would be cool after seeing all of the customization here lol Thank you for the info and hope someone can help me about that. BTW will I edit the last two numbers to 80 or all of them?

I know this is a old thread but I was wondering how to do this as well. I'm trying to create a buff to an object when the sim look at the item.
