I tried to figure this out on my own but in-game it doesn't work. Here's what I did: 1. I wanted a left-hand-only ring (why the hell did they make rings exclusive to hands...) for the right hand 2. I cloned the left hand ring and extracted the mesh 3. I opened a right hand ring 4. I moved the left-hand ring's mesh to the right hand, and rotated and scaled it how I wanted 5. I textured it 6. I imported the new mesh to the right-hand ring 7. In-game, the ring just floats around my sim's head! I figured since I used a right-hand ring as a base the left-hand mesh would know what to do but apparently it doesn't, and I don't know what i have to do to make it hook to the right ring finger... www.dropbox.com/s/tg2mn0wj244ld4a/CervidantiRing.package?dl=0Here it is if anyone wants to look at it. The thumbnail in game is wrong too, it looks like a right hand with a dark mark on the finger.

You need to reassign the ring to another joint. In this case it's b__R_Ring0__. You can't just move an item not without changing joint assignment. Here is a tutorial.

Oh, I didn't realize the joint was a mesh thing, I thought it was part of the object/clothing itself. The ring turns red like it is supposed to, but in-game it's still floating around... Edit: Oops, I didnt remove the old joints! Lemme try that Edit again: I got it! :D Now if only I wasn't too lazy to figure out if I can make it shiny.
