Hello everybody! I'm trying to update Nyloa's Hand outs + Punch ups - Heterochromia for toddlers, but I'm having some trouble. I've never made CC before, just some slight personal edits, and I'm really pulling a blank with this. I updated the default version of Hand outs + Punch ups for toddlers, but it's clearly not going to be as easy this time. Does anyone have any advice for updating pre-existing CC of toddlers or direct me to a tutorial of some kind? Or, heck, is there a toddler version of this CC that I've missed? Please let me know! Thanks in advance!

Hi! So I've never tried making heterochromia contacts before, but I have the same mod in my game and I looked up the texture of the heterochromia file. I've noticed that the eye texture was placed on the opposite side than what the eye texture is supposed to be. To make it clear, it's on the right side instead of the left side.
The toddler eye texture is located at the same place as a child or adult sim, but it's slightly different. All to say that maybe you could try taking the toddler eye texture and put it on the right side, set it as skin detail and see what it is?
Since it's not my file I don't wanna share it, or even share the texture file. But you can look it up on the studio and see if it makes sense! Hahaha I can try on my own and see if it's successful or not, if you want to!

There's no way to have two different looking eyes by only using textures since both eyes are mapped on the same place. That mod uses a custom mesh that goes over the eye so changing only the texture isn't going to work on any other package if you lack the mesh. You have to either modify (personal use) the mesh in blender to fit the toddler's eyes or ask the original creator if they have time to do a version for them.

I think you're right; just looked into the file and realized there is an "eye mesh". it makes alot more sense than what I wrote.

Thank you both for the advice.
I'll take another look at the mesh in blender and see what I can do.

I am interested in a copy of these for toddlers if you succeed. Thanks! I've never modded anything, but I follow instructions well.

Here's an update (almost a year later); I have succeeded in editing the mesh to work for Toddlers.
Still needs a bit of work but they are functional and the Toddlers in my game can now have heterochromia, so I'm happy with it. :D
Gonna mark this as solved, thanks for all the advice.
