Hi! I'm SOOOOOOOOOO sorry for creating another thread but this is a different mesh so i was wondering if you could take a look at this one and it has a slightly diffrent problem... ive looked up everything i possibly can trying to figure it out with out coming to the forums for help again but i really need it im very sick right now and this keeps me occupied... but its really stressing me that ive made this new mesh from sratch the im really proud of that i cant import into blender first it takes forever then i doesnt go in i think it maybe because the poly count but i cant really help that unless i want to mess up my whole mesh... Also i cant switch LOD's without S4S crashing... thanks for the look and any help you can give me! link to blend file: www.dropbox.com/s/afl2dp63v2j15c1/9.blend?dl=0Thanks! (I am not using the recomended version i am using blender 2.78 because i could not download 2.70 and i am using S4S {Candy Apple})

hi! I'm on mobile and not at home so I can't really do much for you. but 99% of the times a mesh "refuses" to import is due to the meshgroups with their cut numbers not matching the original mesh. I doubt is the polygons unless it's extremely high but you say that it finishes loading. as for the crash, I can't help you with that. check the troubleshoot page linked at the top of the bug reports section.

I'm now able to see your blend but it'd be useful to have the package you're using to test the import. Having said that, i just noticed that you're using the mac version which i cannot help you with since i use windows. But this is what i'm seeing from only checking out the blend: - Wrong uvmapping. UV map should be called uv_0 not uvmap. Also it isn't mapped on the correct spot. Please refer to this accessory tutorial that explains how to uv map. (Press ctrl+f to use the search bar and paste "15. Click the small up/down triangles to the right", that is from where you should start reading) - The weight isn't correct. Please do the "clean" step described in the weight transfer tutorial. Also there's an extra group called "group" that should not be there on any of the mesh groups. Select the bone and click the minus button to delete it. - Since the hair is pretty long as it goes beyond then neck i suggest doing the uv_1 following this video tutorial for all mesh groups. - the hair is pretty high poly... i suggest doing a test blend version deleting chunks of two of the mesh groups to reduce the polygons and see if it imports better like this. If it does, then it's a polygon issue or your computer can handle the import part.

I’ll link the EA MESH when I get home (I’m out rn) and I’ll look at those links you put up thanks for the advice!

I was referring to the blend you import into your package. I would like to see both separately.

I was referring to the blend you import into your package. I would like to see both separately. Here Is The Package File. Here Is The Package's .Blend File. (For the EA Mesh I'm Using To Make The Hair) Here Is The .Blend File from earlier. Thanks Since I Just Got Home I'll Try Your Suggestions!

The first link from the first item on the list i wrote you before explains how to open the texture in blender. You have to use an image editor of choice and put all the textures in place to then import them back into blender or/and S4S. here's some tutorials you can check out: - add hair swatch. - Hair retexture. - Edit / move UV around. Also there's tons of videos in youtube if you want to look for them. By the way, can you explain how you solved your import problem? What was the issue?

Well I'm Not quite sure but after the first second and third try it worked! (im not quite sure what i did except i followed your directions and just kept importing it into it until it finally opened) And thanks for all the help!
