I know it's really a crappy situation you're in. I wish I had more helpful suggestions. Did you at least report the issue to EA as well? Rose on the sims Forums mentioned she added it to the list of issues, and I'm not sure how we report issues to EA, so I'm hoping she got the message to them.

I went and tested my own male sim with a feminine frame and got some weird neck stuff too. Though not bulgy... but almost stretched and odd angled like a pose gone wrong. imgur.com/a/yUCGU

Ok, so males with a male frame are warped for me when I try to make them smaller and muscular. Fat and/or muscly they seem to be ok, but there's very little ability to pull the neck around at the max muscly and/or fat sizes. imgur.com/a/YAZbw

It's definitely an issue, I just don't know how one would fix it. If I hadn't tried some experimentation on sizes, I probably wouldn't have seen it. I tend to use mid-ranges for guys and then adjust the individual body parts to suit me.

Looks like they have thyroid problems. (I just recently had to do that...and my neck was bulgy like that.)

YES EXACTLY like my glitch
IM FINALLY NOT ALONE ANYMORE.
A majority of my male sims have thinner necks bc the thicker neck always looked off to me.
BUT FINALLY SOMEONE HAS THE SAME ISSUE AS I"M HAVING.

It's definitely a thing! We are siblings in neck bulginess! It's just good to know it wasn't me [no cursing, please!] that caused this, and that it's not just a one off glitch. Also I feel at this point we need a separate thread for the November Patch glitches, because by now i've just caused a huge CC thread derail (That and having one place to talk JUST about issues with the patch would be great, that way we can also document the Neck bulge glitch in much more detail now that we know how it seems to be glitching. )

You start it and I'll add to it. I'm not sure if a reinstall will fix the issue. I tried with no mods and let the game recreate the folders and the neck weird phenomenon is still there.

On the other post in the masterlink ... link. I went through a barrage of different things to try and correct it. I saw that FallenNights was still having the issue and wanted to see if I could recreate it and once you do and you see it, it can't be unseen. lol. The only minor fix I can see is to make a med+ muscly/weighted sim and then thin the other body parts down to compensate. I will try a total reinstall after they release the xpac and stuff if it doesn't go away just to see if it works.
