I made a bow tie from a necklace mesh and not knowing the bow tie disappears as soon as the sim puts any top on. What would be the best way to solve it? Another mesh?

I have checked all the links, but i cant find out what set to base means. In my mesh i see that check is set to 350. I saw where someone made it 400, but how should i know this is the right things to do? Dont wanna mess up my mesh. I also red that setting ExcludePartFlags field to 0 worked for someone, but dont know if that applies for my mesh too. Also where would I find that?
Hope i can get a fast answer, cause I am waiting to test all my meshes out in the game

You don't need to change any numbers, just from the current region's map state of the accessory to "base". Nothing else. Base it's what hats are categorized as. Just as the sort layers have different have different stages, region map has them to in accordance to how items are displayed on the body. For example socks being under skirts and not above. Base would be at the top of the pyramid making the item appear above any other.
