I noticed I got a pair of pants with 3 swatches somewhere thats poorly categoried, and with my CC so organised (so I thought) I can't understand the life of me how it got in there.
I got it's Instance number(s) by logging the outfit with MCCC, but not much use to me if I can't search for it.
I can't be sure if it's a standalone, or part of a bigger piece with wasn't Applied to All when catagoried, or even part of a mesh with swatches.
Right now it's finding a needle in a haystack stituation.

If you place your mods in your /Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods/ folder (restart Studio if you had it open when you move them), you can use the Tools > Game File Cruiser to search for an instance number. Once you find it, don't forget to take them out of that folder because having tons of packages in there can slow down Studio quite a bit. If this is a common need, then maybe we could add it to the My CC search.

Didn't know Game File Cruiser lists its MOD folder also, but forother reasons a few times i had to do that, quick way is to create a Junction from my Mods folder pointing to the S4S Mods folder, then delete Junction when finished, that way I don't have to move anything, but yeah adding an Instance Number search in the MC CC would been quite useful, hopefully enough people will request it.

I know I shouldn't resurrect such old posts but haven't found other ones.
How exactly do you "search"? I have the instance number from a last exception file (0x0d6e05c2ab91094c). But if I open Game File Cruiser I don't see a "search" button or anything. There are 3 fields where you can input something, tried to input it in all 3 and nothing happens, even tried pressing enter or smth in the keyboard. (it's supposed to be a double bed but I have so many god knows how to find it otherwise xD

After this Studio will tick all resources and automatically search for the instance number.
