First of all, so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, I search around for an answer, but didn`t find it anywhere.
So, very short: After doing the batch fix for objects and for CAS, I deleted my CC thumbnails, and I regret it after not being able to find anything in CAS anymore. I found a folder in my sims 4 studio folder called backup. Can it be so easy as putting the content in that folder back to the mods folder, or are the thumbnails lost to me being to hasty to "clean up"
The thumbnails should still be included in your backup files. Just copy the backup files and put them back in your Sims4 Folder. After you're done, double-check a file with Sims4Studio. But be aware that only thumbnails added by Creators will be visible. Not the ones that are temporary made by the game as you look at them. Those will be saved in your localthumbcache file in the Sims4 Folder. Once you delete this file (which is recommented every so often), the temporary thumbs are gone also. But no worries, they come back as you look at your CAS/Furniture objects again. For the future, do not use this thumbnail option again
ETA: You can also make your own thumbs by taking a screenshot of the object in Sims4Studio. Size 116x116 is for furniture and size 104x148 is for CAS. They have to be saved in .png and can then be imported where it says "import" next to the little thumb screen.
