Hi lokithesim, several Mac users have noted that this advice from someone else who had problems with Blender on their Mac worked for them:
"uninstall s4studios AND blender completely off my computer. then first installed s4studios, then blender 2.78, and I dragged the blender.app into the applications folder."
I'm not sure what you mean by cannot identify my cc folder. Could you explain what you're experiencing?

I got it to work finally when I released I had dragged the whole blender folder into applications instead of just the blender.app. As with the cc folder, in the S4S gallery I cannot find any CCs, only the base game items, when I select Content: Custom.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but you must have a duplicate copy of the CC item you want to recolor in your Documents>Sims 4 Studio>Mods folder (apart from the one you already have in your Documents>Electronic Arts>Sims 4>Mods folder) for it to show up in S4S.

Hi Orangemittens,
I'm sorry if you've already touched on this but I'm VERY new to this site and I had a problem...
I downloaded the Mac version (correct El Capitan and proper blender) and went through the whole startup process easily, but the system started running extremely slow. I'd have to wait up to 30 seconds for the studio to catch up to one click. I'm very familiar with the use of photo editors and import/export processes, so I don't think it is that.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!!

This slowness issue is still being worked on. It does not happen on all macs, but it does seem to be widespread. Strangely enough, older slower macs like mine don't have the problem at all. I am testing on a mac that has this problem now and making code changes that will fix it. It is going well now, and most of the slowness issues are fixed. I'm still testing and working out the other related issues that arose after the slowness was fixed. Any updates on this? I recently downloaded Candy Apple and am excited to try modifying some paintings so I can get some nice art into my house, and its crazy slow on my mac.

All I know is I'm really bummed that I can't make custom wall patterns on my Mac. :( PLEASE update Candy Apple so Mac users can express their creativity, too!

TOO many redirects UPDATE/EDITED: I found the fix: Clearing Website Data Open Safari > Preferences from the menu bar. Click on the Privacy tab in the window that appears. Click Manage Website Data. Search for google.com. Then click Remove. This will sign you out of your google accounts including g-mail. Not sure how often you have to do this but it does work and lets you download google drive CC. ORIGINAL ISSUE: So I know I should be posting this in the "Error Reports for Sims 4 Studio 1.2.0.0 (Candy Apple)" sims4studio.com/post/87091/thread) but I do not get a reply option. Seems I do not comment enough or something like that. If this can be shared over there by someone with access to reply that would be very cool. When I follow the link to download Candy Apple it takes me to google docs> I click download> and get a failed to open page due to to many redirects. I am using safari on my mac. Luckily I am running parallels with windows 10 for Revit for school. I was able to download the file just fine that way. There seems to be a conflict between the download link and safari. Hope this can get sent along and sorry for not posting in the other thread.

For some reason S4S is sometimes running very slow again, I'm using the latest version of Candy Apple. These are my specs:
MacBook Air macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Processor 1,6 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
Is there something I need to clean up in my Sims 4 Studio folder?

I'm trying this right now!

I have problems with trying to get object files to work. Every time I try to make a object recolor or just default one. The S4S crashes after I try to open it. or save it after giving it a name. If I try to open the package it crashes after it load a while. My problems are similar to this thread where someone found a solution, but I can't do that on mac. sims4studio.com/thread/11587/sims-4-studio-keeps-crashing?page=2I'm running the 1.2.1.0 Candy apple with High Sierra 10.13.4 in Mac 27" mid 2011. I used to be able to make objects but I haven't made them for a while, so I'm not sure when this problem started.
