One question, how to change the bounds, are there any rules that apply?
For example: Bounds:
Max: 0.9414027,2.249954,0.1080388 Min: -0.9414027,0.7500458,-0.09503753
What exactly does what?

These are coordinates that correspond to the minimum and maximum points in your mesh. | X(left/right) | Y(up/down) | Z(forward/back) | Max: | 0.9414027 | 2.249954 | 0.1080388 | Min: | -0.9414027 | 0.75004583 | -0.09503753 |

The reason I asked, I created a half let there be light window, to fit over the counters, and everything looks fine but I can only get it to place on the wall at the top, I can't get it to move down. Funny thing is, I also made a similar half window by combining elements in the extended vertical window and the extended horizontal window (from the parenthood pack) and that one does move up and down on the wall. I'm thinking that maybe I can re-position the new half "let there be light window" at the bottom and make a similar cutout at the bottom instead of at the top but it would be an awful lot of work if it didn't work.

Try this: move the mesh down so that the bottom is resting on the origin (save and import), then use the "Adjust footprint to fit mesh" button at he bottom of the mesh tab. Remember to adjust your cutout accordingly.

And now I have a window that sits on the floor and will not move up. Fortunately, I have my old window still so I'll have to figure out another way to get it to drop down or figure out how to get the new window to raise up. Funny thing is, I can get the new window to drop below the wall so I can now make basement windows, even without a basement. Maybe I can bring in the cutout from the other window I made and modify it to fit.
I'm going to play around some more with this and see if I can get it working, not giving up yet.

I have something really weird going on. If I have the old window mesh with the cutout at the top, I can move the window up above the wall, but I can't move it down on the wall. If I move the mesh down and move the cutout to the bottom, the window will now move down below the wall, but I cannot move the window up on the wall. Logic dictates that if I reverse the cutouts, then the window should move on the wall as wanted but this places the cutout either below or above the window on the wall, depending on whether I have a bottom cutout or a top one and depending on which mesh I use. Regardless of the combination, there is no joy in Mudville.

Where would I put this for sharing?

To share the package, you need online storage space. Many people use DropBox, OneDrive, or SimsFileShare as their online storage space. All of these choices are free. Once you have the online space, you need to upload the package to that space and then share the link here. There is a tutorial HERE that shows how to do this using OneDrive. It shows how to sign up for your free OneDrive and how to use it. Using DropBox and SimsFileShare works similarly.

This will take a while, I have a Microsoft account but I've never used one drive so I will need to set it up. And I don't like Edge, but apparently they want me to use that.

Hmmm, I think I found what may be the problem, I decided to make a new file for the lower mesh and instead of having one for the shadow, the new file is indicating there should be three. In my original window, there was only one mesh. If it still doesn't work, I'll upload both for somebody to have a look at.

Hurray! The new one works! I should have just started over from scratch instead of trying to fix one I had made before. So the new one has, as you suggested before, the meshes on the bottom with the cutouts on the bottom too. I can now add all the swatches as my experimental one was a one swatch wonder. Now that I have my one drive set up, if I am satisfied that this window works I will offer it up as a download for others, and be able to actually have this where it can be downloaded.
