S4S does not show the 3D Render when opening package???

I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong place but I assume this might a general question rather than a bug report since I do not have an error dialog pop up. After the Windows update the day before, my S4S can open package and give me a 3D render on a background of my chosen color, but now it no longer works, I can still open the package and edit, categorize, etc but no render, I can still change the background color but grid line cant be turned on. Anyone else having the same problem?
I read in the error thread that maybe updating NET Framework? But my computer is scheduled to update regularly, when I downloaded and installed from the link that orangemittens gave on the bug report thread, it says
