Hello, I don't have any error reports but my sims4studio crashes every time I try to open or create a package that has a preview. When I create/open an empty or tuning/xml only package it doesn't crash. I read over the main troubleshooting thread and tried all the tips and nothing is working. I also seem to not be able to post on the troubleshooting thread so I'm posting here instead.
I did just update my graphics/videocard drivers last night and the problem with sims4 studio started this morning. I can post my graphics/videocard info if you think that may be the problem.
Thank you and sorry for not having a proper error report the program didn't give me one. -MonoChaos
EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot to post which version of studio I'm using. Wishes 3.1.0.7

Having a similar issue to folks in this thread. I was able to run batch fixes before .7 and now with this new version of Studio .7 for Windows. I can't seem to open anything. No errors seem to be writing to the log:
[03:20:15] [v3.1.0.7] Info [S4Studio.Shared.AppModel.Init[0]] OS: Windows 10 Pro [03:20:15] [v3.1.0.7] Info [S4Studio.Shared.AppModel.DoInit[0]] Initializing game files... There is nothing in the other folders inside of Studio. It allows me to pick and create the package and it even makes the package... but I cannot open it up to view the swatches or anything. It doesn't matter if it's old or new, I can't get into it even far enough to make any changes. It crashes before that and asks to shutdown. I also removed all the cache and screenshots from the Sims 4 folder.

hi, I read it in the other thread ( where I can't post) it seems it has something to do with this atiumdag.dll which comes from the AMD-driver... SparkMonkey, have you made an update of your AMD-gra-card too?

SparkMonkey, have you made an update of your AMD-gra-card too? So I was right that it was broken by my updating my graphics card driver. Is there a fix yet or are all AMD users doomed to TSRW? I remember how horrid it was for the sims 3 and don't even want to install it for the sims 4.

I have this problem too. I open Sims4Studio and it works fine BUT if I try to open a created .package file for editing, it crashes. Giving the little box that says "S4Studio has stopped working" then it closes. I AM UNABLE TO POST IN ERROR REPORTING THREAD. My old computer died (RIP) and I got a new computer with Windows 10, an AMD Ryzon processor and an AMD Graphics card. I updated the drivers a few days ago for Assassin's Creed Origins. Now, this "S4Studio has stopped working" is happening when opening .package files.
In the S4Studio Log File:

When my husband got home. I had him take a look at my problem. He's good with computers and he tried a couple things but nothing worked. He tried clearing the old install files with amd driver cleaner and did a couple fresh reinstall sims 4 studio and the drivers after that. If nothing comes up in the next 24 hours, I'll try reverting my drivers back to a version I know was working and see if that works.
Aside of that, I believe I've tried everything I could on my end.
The only thing I noticed was that the event viewer error was reporting that studio .6 was faulting, but I have .7 installed and it says .7 on the installed program files too. I deleted and uninstalled the S4S folders completely when I

Oh not good.
Mine also says .6 but I have .7 installed. Like I mentioned, I just got a new PC and I never had S4Studio wishes v3.1.0.6 installed on this. By the time I got my new puter, v3.1.0.7 was released.
"<EventData> <Data>S4Studio.exe</Data> <Data>3.1.0.6</Data>"
After you deleted and uninstalled S4S, did you reinstall? Same problem after reinstalling? Is it still saying 3.1.0.6 in the event view file also?

We cleaned the driver log, uninstalled and deleted everything regarding s4s and uninstalled the drivers too. Restarted, reinstalled the drivers, then reinstalled s4s and it still has the same issue. atiumdag.ddl faulting as before. I haven't tried reverting to an earlier driver yet. I really don't want to do it if I don't have to because the updated driver fixed an issue of motion sickness with another game... I'm just giving everyone time to come up with other suggestions. Running the latest drivers 17.12.2 of the Radeon. I have an r9 200 series vid card.

I do the same steps like Spark, same crash...I got the same driver 17.12.2 and have a R7 gra-card...and yes, the crash-report says 3106 version, but I wondering why some people can not post in the error-thread? and i ask myself, can I reinstall the newest version Driver of my gra-card?

now, I uninstalled the last Driver-update and go back to a older driver: 17.11.4 and the studio is running fine...but, this can't be the solution?! AMD-cards needs always the newest driver, otherwise the sims 4-game runnig bad...( not yet but in the early future ) sorry, I'm german, hope evrybody understand what I like to say...
