Guys I found a way around this - means you can place them. It's a fair bit of work (two edits required per swatch) and since I'm not a modder I have no idea what it actually does, just know it works. Start off by opening the file by clicking "My Projects". Then save it and it should be good to go. The batch fix seems to undo this I found. Okay so maybe I'm doing this wrong but when I open 'my projects' I can't seem to find 'warehouse', just a bunch of short names someone who doesn't et computers like me doesn't understand. Am I doimg this wrong? Normally, when you click MY PROJECTS a new window will open. Next, look for or navigate to the folder where you saved the counter package file you want and open it in studio. As long as the package file for that contains the counter you want to fix, is not opened in S4S, then you cannot see the warehouse tab. When you open the counter package, then the warehouse tab will be at the top left corner of studio below the file, settings, tools, and help tabs. Hope this helps you out.

Once you're in the Warehouse tab, click in the search field and type "object definition" and hit Enter. An "Object Definition" for every swatch in the package will come up. Click on the first one and on the menu that comes up on the right, scroll down until you see Tuning and TuningID. Click where it says "object_Counter_NoParts" and delete the "_NoParts" so that it just says "object_Counter". Then click on "179670" and change it to "14846". Do this for each swatch. Click save and test it out in game. I'd save a copy of the .package before you do this in case something goes wrong. I know this has worked for me for every counter CC I've tried it with but that's my own anecdotal evidence so I don't speak for how it works with other CC.

Does the method above work for Islands too? Or is there a different Tuning/Tuning ID you have to enter?

This worked beautifully for me, so thank you. but was wondering if there was a similar fix for dressers So I went into basegame object definitions and gathered a bunch of IDs for objects I had with script errors. These ended up working for me, maybe they will for others too? Counters (which were already given above)object_Counter 14846 Counter Islandsobject_CounterIsle 24325 Dining Tables (1x1)object_tableDining_1x1 14975 Dining Tables (2x1)object_tableDining_2x1 14976 Desksobject_desk 14866 Hallway Tablesobject_tableHallway2x1_bm 39831 Dressersobject_dresser 14873

when I do this it corrupts the .package file? Maybe make sure you're not putting in the wrong tuning ID? Like, make sure you're not accidentally marking a hallway table as a 2x2 dining table, or an end table as a 1x1 dining table. The original tuning name should give you a hint as to what the object actually is. That make any sense? It's a bit hard to explain lol.

I think its Portuguese but I could be wrong: dear friends, good morning,
I'm having trouble with couches, armchairs and frames, when I put them inside the house, objects get distorted, but if I put them out of a closed environment they appear normal, most of my custom content with this anomaly are from MXIMS, I've already sent messages to him, no response so far, so I came here to ask for help from you, thank you in advance
When you say distorted what do mean, there has been an shadow/ambient occlusion issue since the cats and dog patch. Can you attach a screenshot?

I'm very confused. After clicking on My Projects, I get a folder full of other folders, like da_DK, Licenses, Recolorables, etc, and a package file called ClientThumbnailsDelta0.package. What folder do I go to? Where do I go after clicking on My Projects? Help?
I'm getting very frustrated. The game seems to be getting even more glitched, the more I play. Most of the EA counters are glitching out with the same Script Call Failed error. I think it's likely its the same counters that cc was created from. I thought it was just one counter at first, until my sim visited some EA lots, and the bathrooms were practically empty. The library was missing its desk as well as the bathroom counters. If I can't even place the EA counters and desks, the game will become unplayable, and I will be forced to remove all cc, or uninstall Laundry Day Stuff.
I found this solution, and thought at first I found the Garden of Eden (so to speak). But, when I opened up S4 Studio and attempted to fix my problem....nothing was working out the way it was supposed to. I couldn't get my screen to look the the one pictured, and I couldn't figure out how to get there. Hence, the cry for help in the first paragraph. Again, I reinterate....help?

So, when you enter the "My Projects" portion of Sims4Studio, the file path is set to default to the install location for S4S. You need to find your mods folder, which for me is "C:\Users\sugarmagnolia\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4". Within that folder, you can then find the CC that needs to be adjusted. Once you find the file/s you want to fix, open it. Once opened, select the "warehouse" tab to edit the tuning ID etc. If any of this is too confusing, I'll provide screenshots.

I've seen this issue with my "Saarinen tables" by Hvikis. Apart from that my cc counters are broken and running a batch fix does not fix them (It shows I have Wishes 3.1.0.9). Okay, so everyone here is talking about reinstalling S4S, and sorry if I'm being dumb, but I can't seem to figure out how to "uninstall"? Because all I've ever done is extract the folder and open S4S from it. There is not place for me to "uninstall" S4S from Control Panel or otherwise. So, I deleted all my S4S folders and downloaded S4S Wishes again (the first time not having deleted previous folders for Harmony&Jackpot). Somehow even with everything presumably deleted as far as I could see, the new S4S remembered my previous data, as if I just updated it instead of reinstalling. So I'm not getting that part. I tried to manually fix two counters using the ID name and ID code as stated earlier in this thread, which worked. However, it's not working through the batch fix (Although it shows Fixed:0 and Unable to Fix:0 as well). So far, the problem with sofas (& maybe beds too that I didn't check) disappearing in build mode and reappearing has solved. Also, after I manually changed the tuning Ids to make the counters work, and then did a batch fix, the batch fix changed the tuning Ids back again and broke the counters I fixed instead... I'm a bit confused as what to do...

dsanyal1234 if this is a S4S problem im sure they are looking into it. It sounds to me like you did the right thing by deleting the S4S, I use the zip one too and when I want to install the new version I delete the S4S folder in document and the extracted folder. Did you empty out your recycle bin, restart and then install again S4S? Also make sure you have your game patched to the latest expansion pack.
