Is anyone else still having the issue of counters not working? I’ve just updated my game and now I’m unable to see any counters, some tables, desks. I’m also having the issue of the blonde streaks through my CC hair, which I’ve updated all game settings and tried available batch fixes. Someone help!

To post an update, yes I figured that out. I realized that I wasn't deleting my Sims 4 Studio folder from Documents, which is why it retained the previous info. Instead of the .zip version, I tried the installer version too, although to no new results. However I did download Laundry Day Stuff finally, and somehow that seemed to solve my problem of erroneous counters and table for some reason? I'm still having occlusion issues on some objects though such as the tables I mentioned above.

I'm very confused. After clicking on My Projects, I get a folder full of other folders, like da_DK, Licenses, Recolorables, etc, and a package file called ClientThumbnailsDelta0.package. What folder do I go to? Where do I go after clicking on My Projects? Help? I'm getting very frustrated. The game seems to be getting even more glitched, the more I play. Most of the EA counters are glitching out with the same Script Call Failed error. I think it's likely its the same counters that cc was created from. I thought it was just one counter at first, until my sim visited some EA lots, and the bathrooms were practically empty. The library was missing its desk as well as the bathroom counters. If I can't even place the EA counters and desks, the game will become unplayable, and I will be forced to remove all cc, or uninstall Laundry Day Stuff. I found this solution, and thought at first I found the Garden of Eden (so to speak). But, when I opened up S4 Studio and attempted to fix my problem....nothing was working out the way it was supposed to. I couldn't get my screen to look the the one pictured, and I couldn't figure out how to get there. Hence, the cry for help in the first paragraph. Again, I reinterate....help? So, when you enter the "My Projects" portion of Sims4Studio, the file path is set to default to the install location for S4S. You need to find your mods folder, which for me is "C:\Users\sugarmagnolia\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4". Within that folder, you can then find the CC that needs to be adjusted. Once you find the file/s you want to fix, open it. Once opened, select the "warehouse" tab to edit the tuning ID etc. If any of this is too confusing, I'll provide screenshots.

Thanks for the help, but when I try to link to my relevant folder I get an error message, "An error has occured. Please report this. Thanks " Maybe its because I use sub-folders? I have Build and Buy folders, and within those, I have other folders, in this case, Surfaces. Then I have a folder with the creator's name, and in that one, a folder for the specific item. So, yeah, multiple sub-folders. It will be a royal pain to undo this, and re-do it. I'm still hoping S4 Studio will come up with a batch fix, but maybe I'm dreaming. I suppose I can try it to see if it works. I'd have to do one creator/item at a time, because right after the "fix", I'll have to replace my cc in the appropriate folder, before I forget where it goes.

Honestly, I have no idea as to why you're getting an error message. I'm inclined to say that having sub-folders is not the cause of S4S getting an error, but, as I said, I really don't have the slightest idea. Do you have the most recent version of S4S?

Guys I found a way around this - means you can place them. It's a fair bit of work (two edits required per swatch) and since I'm not a modder I have no idea what it actually does, just know it works. Start off by opening the file by clicking "My Projects". Then save it and it should be good to go. The batch fix seems to undo this I found. I tried this and it worked You have to make changes in all "object definition" of the same object?

I figured out how to call up the necessary files, but I still don't really understand the changes that are necessary. I have 1 counter that already states what the instructions say it should state, but it still doesn't work. The only other thing I noticed, was that Surface wasn't checked. I made that change on another counter to no effect. It still doesn't work. I'm nervous about changing all of these things, especially since the counters seem to have all of these complicated names, and I am neither a modder nor a creator. I'm really still hoping that Sims 4 Studio makes a batch fix for it. It's rather annoying trying to get rid of just the counters, desks and dressers, especially since I usually install the merged files. I have 1 creator that I'm going to contact to see if he'll be able to fix his content, but most of the other stuff I have, I'm more or less out of luck on, as the creators are no longer active. That's why I really love the batch fixes. I don't have to count on the creators to fix their content for me. Even though I'm not a creator, I use Sims 4 Studio all the time for the batch fixes. They are absolutely fantastic. I realize they are probably a lot of work, and I really do appreciate the time that is put into this program. The real problem I'm having now, is that any counters/desks/dressers that a creator used to make their cc, no longer work for the EA version either. It's awful. I go to the desert park, and the bathrooms no longer have counters or sinks. I go to the library, and the desks are gone, as well as the counters in the bathroom. I hate it, and I can't figure out how to fix this. It seems too complicated for my poor, simple, little mind :'( I am still holding out the unlikely hope that a batch fix will eventually be added. In lieu of that, maybe more detailed, simplified instructions for the counters, desks and dressers. Thank you

Hello all, I have the problem with my game after "Laundry day stuff" - "script call failed". I tried "Batch Fixes", but after that some of my mergers packages file were removed from Mod folder in Electronic Art and they were moved in Sims 4 Studio\Batch Fixes\18-03-04_15-38-37 (Fix Objects for Cats & Dogs Patch). When I tried to move it again in Mod folder and after that starting the game i still have the massage "script call failed". How can I fix this, please! Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi everyone, Yesterday I just joined the game and the broken CCs worked! (Desks, countertops...) I don't know why. My advice to you is: never give up! I had been waiting for CCs to work for months

hi i encountered this problem as well.
my cc counters stopped working so my sims no longer could cook or use the sinks. My fix was to generate a new electronics arts/the sim 4 folder
i simply renamed the old folder to broken cc counter ran a test game saved and then added my CC to new sims 4 folder and all is right again.
hope this helps
