I've been trying to flip a male hairstyle but some parts of it are gone and idk what to do. Would anyone help me out? I'm just starting out on this kind of stuff.

Have you checked if it's because of the selected mesh item? Usually EA hair meshes have 3 meshes because they include chopped hair for hat accessories. Maybe deselect the unnecessary ones (click on the eyeball icon) until you find a mesh that's complete. Otherwise, try to re-extract the mesh from Sims 4 Studio.

ok! so the normals are inverted. you can fix this by going into blender in edit mode and selecting all of the "invisible" parts. then on the left panel under shading/uvs, click flip uv direction.
