I have it kind of half done, very badly, by extending the days on the maid worktime. Thing is, by deleting the "end of work" stuff I broke something and it gave me an LE once, not sure what exactly made it go off as I thought I deleted all reference to it. In the end, it seems impractical and it doesn't give the maid a bed like it does with a butler. So the maid just hangs around cleaning.
I'm thinking I'll need to make an entirely new hirable service. That means making copies of some maid and butler xmls, and then reworking them to this new live-in maid service. There's just a bunch of stuff that I'm not clear on in there, several tags and statements are vague to me. So while I sort of have the logistics figured out, my lack of experience with sims xml files and editing has me stumped. I'm not sure where to start.
