whenever i make a recolor the quality of the texture is always drastically lowered when i import it to sims 4 studio. how do i keep the texture high quality?

hello welcome to sims 4 studio! can you please share a picture of the problem you're having? this is what the dds looks like before importing this is after importing i used to save the file as A1R5G5B5 instead of DXT5 to keep the quality but for some reason it doesn't upload that file format anymore

if this is a wall recolor, it will stretch the image if it's not the correct size. see this tutorial
