Hello everybody,
After Latest Laundry Day Stuff pack I am getting "Script Call Failed" on tons of my CC! It's too annoying!! please helpp
Guys! I've found the solution. It is not about game's update. It is all about CC's creator! If CC's creators update their CC and Mods for Laundry Stuff, there will be no longer "Script call Failed Error" Yet, There many Kitchen Counters are getting the "Script call Failed Error" :( and other stuff.
However, There is another solution for it, if CC's Creator shows us how can we update the CC and Mods then we can update CC which is having this Error.
Sometimes CC Creators share their stuff again within update, but there are many CC and Mods i dunno think it will be easy thing to do. If we know how can we do, then everyone updates their broken CC and Mods etc.

Hi ricciricciricci, did you patch your game after the Pets patch and before Laundry Day? If not, it is most likely that you are seeing issues that were introduced by the Pets patch rather than problems resulting from the Laundry Day Stuff pack. If that is the case, please run the batch fix Studio has for the Pets patch. If not, could you provide a couple of examples of the items that aren't working so the issue can be investigated?

I think It is not about Pets pack because before I've downloaded Laundry Day Stuff, my CC and Mods were ok. After Laundry Stuff this problem has pop-up :( Even I fixed the cc again but nothing changed

Hi ricciricciricci, if you did not patch your game before you got Laundry Day Stuff, then when you installed that game you received the Pets patch and the Laundry Day patch. The Pets patch is known to have caused script changes in many surface and comfort items. If you didn't patch for Pets, then you would not have noticed this until you patched for Laundry day. So, the question is, did you patch your game after Pets came out but before Laundry Day came out? If not, then the changes you're seeing are most likely from the Pets patch changes. Have you run Studio's Pets patch batch fixer? Please start by doing that. If the problems persist, please let me know which items are giving you trouble so the issue can be investigated. If there was a change in the Laundry Day material that affects CC, we can look into making a batch fixer to update non-functional CC.

I am also receiving this message. I've noticed this on counters, dressers, and desks! I patched my game after I got the pets expansion and it fixed everything. (I was having trouble with beds and sofas then) I downloaded the Laundry Day Stuff Pack today and upon entering my sim's kitchen I noticed it was very bare.

Yeah, same here, except I haven't even bothered getting the Laundry Day Stuff pack, as i'm afraid it will mess things up in my game even more. I ran the batch fix a week or so ago because I was having issues with placing sofas (beds appeared to be okay). The batch fixed the sofas, however, I later discovered that the majority of my kitchen counters (i.e. counters by wondymoon, MXIMS, and Sanoysims, just to name a few) were getting the "Script call failed" error. It's exasperating, but honestly I'm feeling rather thankful that it's only the counters that are giving me trouble. Still, I am hoping to find a solution soon!

I have this problem too. I took out a mod that added extra slots to counters and they work after replacing but other things like desks and chest of draws are still giving the script error. I truly hate updating this game. :-[

I followed yiyas' little walkthrough that he (or she?) posted in a different thread and it worked like a charm. It's a bit of a tedious process, but absolutely worth it to get something as important as counters working again. Here's a link to that thread, in case you'd like to manually fix your countertop problems as well.

Same here. EVerything was just fine before the laundry day stuff. (I still can't believe people voted for that super boring theme what a waste of time & resources) Anyways, script call failed horror is real. Guess we need a seperate batch fix for laundry pack. Some of my CC desks, counters, shelves are affected.

Same issue here. Someone in another thread found a solution, but it's super tedious and time consuming. Do we know if there's a batch fix being worked on for Laundry Day?
