imgr0k , hello! welcome to the studio forums!  this is most likely because you're working with a merged package. the ability to go from studio to warehouse has not yet been added for merged packages.

you can still make HQ textures. all the matters in doing HQ is the warehouse tab, where you are. i opened your package and the studio tab is working for me. maybe try reinstalling sims 4 studio?

I reinstalled the installation package and the rar package.
I thought maybe there is some kind of VIEW parameter that turns these tabs on / off.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong? is that the installation path or something?
Also I deleted the folder with the files in my documents, thought it would help, but no
At the very bottom of the guide, he talks about the studio tab for shadow/specular

Both .packages open and show both the Studio tab and Warehouse tab for me. There must be a setting on your pc that is preventing it from showing. I will contact the development team and get back with you.

Hi imgr0k, Your last picture shows normal behavior of S4S. It will not let you save files or create files directly in your game folder. This is to stop people from accidentally breaking their game with Studio. The Studio and Warehouse tabs do not show in two cases: 1. The package is a merged package. 2. The package is in your game folder. I suspect that it is the second one. Can you check your settings in Studio and look at where Studio thinks your game is installed? If for example Studio thought your game was installed on "D:\" then you would not be able to save anything to your D:\ and no packages opened on your D:\ would show the Studio tab. |

andrew, thanks for the detailed answer. You are absolutely right! The problem was this: Game path - D:\Games\The SIMS 4 Mod path (where I did all the experiments) - D:\Games\The SIMS 4 Mods This was the conflict! Since my English is not good enough, I made an image that would explain better - ibb.co/kP03UGI often play mods for games, and I've never seen such a conflict with paths, it never even occurred to me! Do not you think this conflict of path is strange? Anyways, thank you very much for your help, you saved my game and soul! |
