Need plenty of details & steps on how to create a mod I am working on. First how to import objects from blender to S4S ( my object appears as the picture [ Handcuffs ] in the mods category in buy / build mode ) but it keeps showing the vase as the mesh.

Hi! This is a SIMPLE GUIDE if you already have the mesh already created.

Hi there, The answer you seek is in the links that were provided to you. You have probably no cut number set on your object or the wrong one.

Zelrish question? Okay how do I make different cut numbers ? Because the vase had 1 & I input the number 1. The mesh was 0, but I can't figure out how to input a cut number for that.

The tutorial is slightly outdated regarding the syntax. The cut numbers are written 0000 or 0001, 0002 etc
depends on what the link is.. either upload to your online drive such as google drive/dropbox or an image upload site such as imgur and either share the link or use the insert image button.

The link I shared explains how cut numbers work regardless if it's a wall or floor item. Your mesh groups must match exactly the originals. So, if you clone a base then it should be shadow 0, cuffs 1.

If you already exported a Vase you will see in blender how the shadow is made. The point here is to copy the way the game does thing, not re-invent it.
Look at how it is made for the vase and adapt it to your handcuffs.

Zelrish okay that makes sense, I will walk you through how I am doing things. But in all reality I am create a police mod : I know it takes a lot, but I'm dedicated. But as of now I'm creating a trait through the mod constructor V3 : any ideas on how to import a custom icon ? I put the right game numbers & made it 128x128. Like for example do the numbers have to match the category of the trait ?

I have my object, but I don't know how to get a shadow mesh. ( Handcuffs ) I don't have a shadow mesh behind the handcuffs like how that " LOVE " wall object was. I have no shadow mesh, how do I get or make shadow mesh ? Do I use a plane ? Or cube in blender etc.
