I don't know which tutorial you have been following, but it needs to include a part about vertex paint and uv_1 map. Uv_1 map is responsible for morphing and color of vertex paint tells the game how to treat specific mesh.

Hi! Please share the package and blend files so someone can take a look.

I have since updated s4studio to 1.2.0.7 Candy Apple and tried all over again twice, but now I can't import my finished mesh into s4studio. When I import my custom .blend mesh it simply processes a bit and then nothing happens. I have searched for a solution but can't find any. My mesh is not too high poly. I have set the GEOM 0000. I don't have the s4studio tab in blender 2.70 to set the GEOM 0000, so I do it in blender 2.76, but when I opened it, it looked strange and boxy.

The weight transfer was done in blender 2.70, exactly as in this tutorial, step 11. sims4studio.com/thread/7044/finish-marvelous-designer-clothing-tutorial. I have done the tutorial many many times and something doesn't work. I Thought maybe it's blender 2.78, and did the tutorial again with 2.76. However S4studio Candy Apple doesn't work anymore, it won't import any meshes, so I can't test my new mesh.

Solved it by not using quads.
