I don't have a specific picture of my problem but this is recurring only with my own meshes if I make a sim bigger it'd clip with the thighs or the arms it doesn't clip anywhere else except for those places! I did my weights and boob slider compatible thing it's just the plus sized clipping

Hi SZNS , This is related to the uv_1 and potentially vertex paint. For the sliders to work perfectly you usually need to have a really clean uv_1 You can check those tutorials for more info: here, here and here

SZNS to my experience sometimes uv_1 has to be manually adjusted to make it work with plus-size meshes, especially if it's MD mesh, even retopologized MD mesh makes it difficult to create impeccable uv_1. If you made a mesh in MD and decimated it then there is a big chance that it won't morph 100% correct with EA's big sliders due to different topology of the mesh. If you have a particular mesh that you are having a problem with you can share .package and blend.

Is there a quick fix for it or do I need to make the same mesh but with a plus-sized MD avatar/rig? I followed this tutorial.

SZNS, Feyona and Zelrish just told you exactly what you need to do. if you follow the tutorial correctly you will be able to have plus sized sims. you need to adjust your uv_1 and maybe manually fix your weight paint.

Here is a view of my uv_1 and this is the dress I'm trying to fix if its any help Would I have to make my uv_1 smaller or put it inside of the boundaries?

please share the blend files. do you have body geometry under that dress? no wonder it clips.. that's too tight. I would delete inner body parts and close the dress at the bottom. not sure if you're bothered by that.

I deleted the whatever was covered by the mesh like it stated in the tutorial! Here is my blend file

can you share a picture of the issue in game?

All three. I've adjusted the collarbone/shoulder size in the third picture and it still clips. the second picture has a bigger collarbone/shoulder size and it clearly clips. and the first picture really speaks for itself

Am I allowed to bump two days after posting a reply? If I'm not allowed I'm sorry!

You are as long as the last post has been 24 hours ago as well.
I personally can't suggest you much. I haven't really worked on anything for plus size so i didn't think it was an issue or that it reacted differently than any other size states. By default, your shoulder straps are already clipping in the default model in blender... so i would edit those from the get go. As for the other parts.. i can't really think of anything but mold it to be less tight.. but that's the look you're going for. Try selecting the parts you're having issues (chest & legs) as long as the skin and compare both rows of vertices in the UV_1 map to see if they match.

Well for future reference; Is there any way to stop this from happening?

I think the problem here is that you have overlapping faces/models. You have the dress mesh overlapping skin parts. For the chest area you need to snap together the edges of the two meshes you're combining and fix the uv map accordingly. For the legs I think you might just need to make the top of the thighs thinner or make the bottom portion of the dress that clips wider. Or at least that what it looks like to me.

I just gave up on fixing this particular dress but thank you for the advice! Is there a way how I can fix this from happening to my future meshes?
