Hey guys, I know this is an older thread mostly from the CC break from Dogs and Cats. Unfortunately I was wondering if anyone has experienced any CC breaking with the new expansion update (Feb 27, 2018) for the Jungle Adventure expansion pack? I am experiencing crashing with Mods enabled. Without them enabled I have no issues.
My Macbook is updated, my game is updated and has been repaired multiple times... I've manually tested by taking CC from the same creators in and out... The updates and the breaking CC is starting to make me not want to play the game anymore because it's so much effort to fix it all. I'm at the point where I don't want to play sims without CC because they look so regular and similar to me without any CC on. I'm really starting to get tired of this and I hope I'm not the only one with this issue. Am I the only one with this issue and is S4S going to make an update for those who have broken CC from Jungle adventure like they did for cats & dogs?
if not, does your game give out lastException text file or crash? Plese post the text files.
ETA: also if you have script mods in game, make sure script is enabled. If it's enabled try taking just the script mods out and see what happens. Script mods are most likely the main reasons for game crash.
If you haven't already done so, try the 50/50 method or less by first taking your mods folder out and move it to your desktop. then launch the game and exit. Then go to your newly created mods folder and add the mods from desktop back in your new folder one by one or in batches. Again launch your game in between to test. If the game runs ok, add some more and launch the game again. Do this with the rest of your mods until your game crashes again. I know it's a bit time consuming, but game crashes are most likely a sign of some or one of your CC are no longer compatible with the game because of a game update, and this method will help you to find the culprit. Once you have found it, take it out and go to the creators site to look for an update.
