Hello! I hope you all are having a great day. I create a top from a dress following this tutorial. It looks great in Blender and the Sims 4 Studio, but when I open it up in CAS it gets all weird. Here are links to the blend file, and the package file. (Updated Links.) Please help me sort this out! Screenshots for Blender And S4S Screenshots, And finally, CAS Screenshots Thats the dress that I ripped from. Some examples of other bottoms with it: And it works with some like so: Sorry that this post is so long! Hopefully someone can help.

if you're talking about the strange shadows on the sim's body, you'll need to either blank the shadow map or create your own. here is a tutorial on how to create your own shadow map.

It doesn't seem that this map actually has a shadow map, this is my warehouse with the RLE 2 image selected.

there have been issues where some maps don't show up sometimes in the warehouse. go back to the studio tab and see if blanking the shadow map fixes anything. if it doesn't you'll need to share your package file.

The only thing that does is it makes the top and bottom of my mesh look like salami and the middle invisible. Anyways, I have links for the blend and package file at the top that will take you to SimsFileShare.

can you share a picture of the new problem? because when i removed the shadow map and put it in my game it solved the issue.

Like I said, salami. I'm sorry if this is getting a little tedious, I'm new at this stuff xD

did you remove the shadow map or the diffuse? because it looks like you removed the diffuse map. on the tabs where it gives you a list of diffuse, shadow, specular, normal, and emission, you need to remove the shadow one. everything else is fine. the only issue is the shadow map. so the only one you need to remove is the shadow map. you removed the diffuse map.

I'm not sure which one I removed. I exported the texture from the only RLE 2 Image and erased it. I'm not sure what you mean by the tabs of diffuse, shadow, specular, normal and emission. Is that in Blender?

Hi! Only modified parts of the package get shown in the warehouse. If some texture or mesh isn't changed, then the package links it automatically to the original cloned item to avoid unnecessary/repeated strings.
I suggest re cloning the original top you used and editing the shadow map texture. You can either use this new package, or grab the edited texture and imported in your old package.
If you still have any sort of issues after fixing the shadow map, please share the package and blend file.

I just looked at your screenshot, Anna, and your comment inabadromance, and I feel so stupid now xD That's me for ya, though. Also, inabadromance, I do have the links to the package & blend file that take you to SimsFileShare at the very top of the post. They should be underlined and blue.
