So hello everyone! Yesterday I created 2 new objects. I'm having problems with their textures ingame and in Sims4Studio as well. 2 Parts inside the open shelfes are black. Also the object has some questionmarks. It is not colorful but you can see it anyway. And the object still has the old shadows from their original mesh which I can't seem to delete. Would someone please take a look at that? That'll be great. Providing the files as always: Blend: simfil.es/494934/Package: simfil.es/494936/Thanks in advance

Hi playerswonderland, if you're seeing a question mark image on your item in the game, it is almost certainly the case that your images are not the right size. All sides of the image need to be a power of two. The image can be square or rectangular, but all sides must be one of the following sizes: 32, 64, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 or a smaller or larger power of two. I'm not sure what you mean by inside the open shelves are black. Can you post a picture of that?

The Texture has the right size. If the size isn't correct, the questionmark will appear on a colorful background which isn't the case here. i.imgur.com/S87dtq7.jpgHere. I hope you can see what I mean. It's the TV cabinet The questionmarks appear on the drawers. And even on the surface

Hi! I would re clone the base game object again. You're missing two textures, specular and bump map. If you don't do them correctly then it's not going to look alright. What do you mean by "question marks"? I don't see anything in the last picture you shared. Also, by looking at the preview of the object it seems that there's many overlapping geometry (it flickers black). To fix the shadow issues, you'll need to create proper shadow lods. Please read THIS TUTORIAL, it goes over the whole process. The texture lacks depth, i suggest creating an ambient occlusion texture for your object to add shading. Please READ THIS TUTORIAL (the example item is a CAS object but it applies to any mesh, from step 7 onward).
