I'm trying to convert a full body outfit. I have weight painted and made a uv_1. But when I went to upload it, the feet were stretched weirdly and pulling away. I thought it might have been a uv_1 problem, but nothing I did changed it. I used a different full body outfit to use as a base, thinking that maybe when I did the data transfer on the uv_1 on the first one it didn't match up, but when I accidentally uploaded the same mesh (without any of the uv_1 changes) to the second base, the feet were fine but now the arms were messed up. I don't understand why it would affect it that way. This is a picture with the first base I used which was a one-piece swimsuit. And this is the second base I used, which was the astronaut costume I think, with the exact same mesh, no changes. The feet are now fine, but the back of the arms are messed up, which wasn't the case before. Here is the blender file: www.dropbox.com/s/c2a4li43ql9nix5/tevintercostume1.blend?dl=0

Anyone have any ideas about this at all? I've tried changing around the uv_1 and the weights, but nothing seems to affect it except for using a different base to upload it.

Your uv_1 and weight paint is fine. I think this is a cut issue. When you cloned the original EA mesh, did it have multiple mesh/cut groups? Like s4studio_mesh_1,2,3 etc? If so, you need to match these. Although it's easier just to start again and clone a full body male outfit that has just one cut group such as this one.

The two screenshots are from two different full body outfits (a swimsuit and the astronaut's outfit) that I cloned that had only one cut. I did originally try cloning an outfit that had multiple cuts, the butler's outfit, but this is what it looked like instead: Which is why I didn't think this was a cut issue since the problems with that one are completely different.

Hi! Can you please share the full 1 cut body outfit you're using to import the first blend you shared? What blender version are you using?

try using blender 2.70 when doing the weight transfer. if you don't want to use that version and would like to stick with 2.78 you'll have to do the extra clean step as shown here.

Okay, so i just took the time only with the blue outfit and the nude full body swimwear package. That's the only i've looked at. I re did the weight with blender 2.70 on my own using the swimwear body as reference. I didn't see much difference, except to the feet... your transfer picked the two feet and mine weighted each leg with the calf bone... so i'm not sure what we did differently. If you've done it differently then that might by why you are getting the spikes since that's related to weight. I also re did the uv_1 using 2.73a. Here's the comparisson. Above is mine and the other is yours. Your's is a bit broken and less clean, plus the feet part go over much down that mine. I would re do the uv_1. (don't pay attention to how it's position, i moved it for the sake of taking the screenshot)
