Hey everyone , I'm currently working on a wall aquarium and everything goes well except for two things: the fish and the decoration. About the fish: he appears and swims but his animation takes the "former mesh's dimensions" (it's the simple fish bowl from the base game). As a result, his fin or head goes out of the aquarium or he goes through the wall. I'm quite sure it's a rig or slot matter but still, I can't make it work well. This is the result I have: About the decoration: I would just want to know how you make an object automatically combine with another one. You know, just like the chairs and the table. On the pictures, the decoration were placed well thanks to "moveobjects" but I'd like to make so the code doesn't have to be used. Thank you in advance for your help

When you say "decoration", do you mean the sand in the bottom of the bowl?

Hi teruuberry, the fish is an effect rather than an object. When the fish effect is played in the game, the fish mesh is called and performs the effect. Currently, it is possible to change the position where the fish effect is played, but it is not possible to alter the scale. Changing something about the effect itself (which mesh is called), is not something Studio can do. To the best of my knowledge, there is no tool that is capable of editing Sims 4 effects. I think that, currently, if you want the fish effect to play entirely inside the bowl, you will need to change the size of the bowl rather than the size of the fish.
As far as the decoration goes, I'm not sure why you want the chair/table snapping for that. Are you saying you want the fishbowl to be empty of decoration and the decorations should be separate objects that jump into the bowl?

Thank you for your answer, orangemittens . And thanks for that explanation^^. I confess I would be bothered to change the size of the ball; I really appreciate it the way it is. I will figure that out. As for the decoration, you perfectly understood my idea^^. I wanted to do this to decorate the bowl as easily as possible, without having to use the codes. I want to be able to add whatever I want in the bowl; that can be just the sand or just the plant or both. Here is what I would like to do

Good lord, taking that personnally or not, I did not expect to have that kind of answer..
Well, I do hear you and I understand your point of view; mine is not so far from yours, actually. But just like you said, it is for a virtual game. And as for me, it will stay in the game. I will personnally not be part of the people who put a fish in a little bowl like that. I know the value of a life.
I do not want to be rude, but I would like this message to be the last one for that matter. If you want to carry on, let's just send private messages for each other.
But in this thread, I am searching for answers to my questions.

Hi teeruuberry, I think the kind of feature you're describing could be accomplished by adding a decorative slot to the bowl and making the various elements that go in it small deco items that will hop into the bowl slot. Have you tried that?

Hi, Orangemittens,
I indeed thought about that, but I have some progress to do with placing slots; I find it a bit difficult >:D. I will try and let you know how it goes. Thank you a lot^^.

Hi teruuberry, I'm not sure when you last took a look at Studio's slot feature, but it was updated to make placing slots much easier than it was when Studio first came out. Whether you use deco slots or chair slots, the kind of thing you're describing is almost certainly going to take a little slot work. There is a tutorial HERE that shows how to use Studio's slot editor without doing any math at all (having to calculate positions was a drawback early on). If you go that route and run into questions about slotting this object, it's fine to include questions about it in this thread that you have started
