I'm trying to follow this tutorial - sims4studio.com/thread/3463/make-candle-multiple-flames - but to apply it to an object that has an alpha.
I have a few problem, though.
1) The flames are, for some reason, too high up. Studio shows them to be in the right place, but you can tell they're way higher than they should be.
2) They don't emit light.
3) The tooltip isn't showing up.
This behavior seems to be how the tutorial's candles work, but is there any way to fix that?
I'm almost ready to just give up on making the candles actually work for this thing - they didn't originally anyway. But it'd be a nice touch. And getting them to work would have other applications.
