Hi! Have you touched weights or uv_1? I suggest cloning a simple tank top, joining all the groups of your blend into one and editing the cut number to 0000.
To join, select the first meshgroup from the list. Shift click the rest meshgroups. Hover your mouse over the mesh in the 3D view and press CTRL+J to join.

Before I posted this thread, I tried the mesh joined but I didn't clone it with the tank top and it was a similar result. So I'm wondering is it even necessary to even separate the mesh?

in my experience no. if you're working with a mesh that has several cuts and edit one of them, you must keep the cuts intact. if you're deliberately dividing a mesh, then no. just clone a 1 cut top or outfit, use reference that mesh and end of story. this is how you avoid incorrect weights and flying vertices.

Gotcha! Makes sense. Before now I was taking the meshes and joining them and then separating them. Glad to know I don't have to worry about that anymore. Thank you for your help.

no prob glad I could help. 1 more question. Is there a 1 cut bottom anywhere? Preferably one that cuts just under the knee? I've tried the boxers and cropped jeans. Very close to just using the nude bottom with no cuts and putting a disclaimer?

I've tried the trunks, those are 3 cut. Think I'm just going to stick to the nude bottoms.
By disclaimer, I mean when post the pants, I'll let whoever wants to download it know that it doesn't work with well those big snow boots and the like. I don't think players even use boots on male sims but I just like to be as transparent as possible.
