My Sim has very... "unique" features I find it very irritating to have to constantly go in and out of Blender to make tiny changes to my pose/animation when it shows barely a lick of a difference in-game. It's annoying to have to have to do all these saves, move files around, start the game, close the game, start blender, close blender, see little to no changes in the game, etc. I've got a good idea that I'm not the only one that finds this whole process irritating, so I'm hoping that there's a way to go around it by having my Sim replace the model that appears in Blender. But, if there is no way around this, I'm also fine with dealing with this process. I just find that having to do all this closing and opening and testing discourages me from wanting to create more new and unique poses/animations. To anyone that has any ideas, your comments are greatly appreciated!

hi! it'd be useful to know what these "unique" features are. you can simply open the rig meshgroup, enable all elements (all eyes grey to white) and edit the parts you need to reflect your sim "features". then pose accordingly. the pose is the only thing that gets imported so all is well. the advanced option, that I can't help you with side I'm not knowledgeable enough and never tried it is in this thread: sims4studio.com/thread/6328/extract-model-people-gamethere's not really someone in that thread that can help more than that.. so read what's there and try it works. again, the first option is what I suggest since it's easier.

By "unique", I meant that my Sims eye scale and shape (among other things) were a lot smaller and angular in comparison to, say, the model Sim given in Blender when creating poses and stuff. Normally, because of this, I'd have to constantly fiddle with the model's eyelids in order to produce the desired eye expressions on my actual Sim in-game... If that makes sense. In example, this Would give me this:
