Hey you guys,
So, I'll cut to the chase... I made my first ever mod using the studio and gimp (I can't afford photoshop, y'see) and I've downloaded the body texture template and used tutorials, etc etc, and yay! It was a success, my tattoo appears in game, but...! For some reason, my skintone always remains that horrid peach colour and no overlays or skin details cover it, there's no way of even changing the skintone. It's like it's a part of the tattoo itself...
Has anybody got an advice on how to solve this problem?
Thanks!!! Xx

hi! you use the body textures just too know where to place the tattoo. you don't include them in the final texture. only your tattoo must be there. if you save as png then it's your tattoo over transparent background. if you save as dds then you use the alpha channel to control the transparency.

Awesome! So, in Gimp, do I erase the layer with the texture? xx
