Hello people, I hope Im posting this in the right place.. Im new to Blender, Ive downloaded the 2.7 version but the screen/window looks somehow pale as if theres a white overlay on it. when i move the mouse it sometimes goes away for a second before it returns. Has anyone had this issue? Does anyone know what it could be? I also feel like it's effecting the way blender works, like when i press 'b' to select verteces, the cursor comes up but i cant actually select anything. I dont know, if the weird 'overlay' is what is causing this.. Here's a picture of what my screen looks like, although you cant really see the problem, since it's just weirdly pale..

It is not normal indeed. I don't know what could be causing this issue though. I think you're better off asking in Blender's forums about it, they probably can give you further assistance.

Hey! If you haven't figured it out yet or gotten help on the Blender forums - try going to File > User Preferences > Click on the 'Theme' tab > click 'Reset to Default Theme' on the bottom left bar.
Hopefully that should fix it up, otherwise I do suggest checking with Blender support.

Hey lapleesa, if you're still following this, I just fixed the same issue with my Blender. Fully reinstall your video card's driver. Preferably by removing the device and drivers in Device Manager, make sure the driver is fully uninstalled and reinstalled fresh. Reinstalling the driver though Nvidia's console was not radical enough for this as it turned out.
Otherwise, if you're only creating for TS4, try updating to Blender 2.76. I found that the issue disappeared there, but I couldn't use 2.76 and use all the posing add-on features for Sims 3 (which I still do a lot of).

I had this exact issue. I never managed to solve it either. I uninstalled a reinstalled blender so many times to no effect. Using a different version of blender didn't have the same issue though. If I desperately need to use the older version of blender again that was being affected then I will take a look at my nvidia drivers.
