What’s up with the negative backlash on seasons exp they barely announced it and already people are bagging it. So sick of this culture of hate or fads of hating, are people really that nasty nowadays or is it just the loud obnoxious people. Shame on those people.

I came across too judgmental and became what I'm trying to fight against sorry for that, but the fact is everyone has their idea how sims should be, I've seen people for and against open world for example, rather than constantly bagging the game and the people making it can we rather provide constructive feedback, rather than narky comments and basically being mean to the developers and attacking them personally lets politely and constructively give feedback, and if the game is so far away from what you want then why try to grind it into the ground thus ruining it for others. Everyone is entitled to their opinion that's not the issue the issue is the blatant rude way they voice their opinion in a word in comes down to respect for your fellow human.

Personally, I think it's a bit silly to start making judgments about a game based on the tiny teaser we've seen so far. I "get" that EA has lost a lot of trust because of some decisions they've made in the past (the hamster pack springs to mind), but there's sort of no point to opining about something when there is almost no information on which to base an opinion. But people will be people.

I like the expansion packs, they add a lot of good stuff to the game, but all I hate is the broken mods..modders spend their life creating these awesome additions only for them to break! :(

EA cannot improve the game without changing and adding code. When they change or add code, CC code updates are often needed. There is no way around it on their side or ours, so it's just something people who make or use mods need to deal with

Specially since MODS are not supported. And that's been officially said several times.. so.. EA doesn't have the obligation to make their changes without braking cc.

EA gets a lot of hate, and it has bled into Sims fandom. I am in a couple groups on Facebook and one on Reddit and they complain constantly. I understand not having the money to buy all of the things and that being frustrating, but so many game franchises (call of duty is a great example) release new items every few months and this is the model they use to keep money coming in. You don't have to buy every pack, you're supposed to pick and choose based on interests. I appreciate that they have always allowed mods, CC and encouraged sharing of builds and youtube videos, etc. I completely get your frustration!

EA gets a lot of hate as a publisher because they are really over the top with milking their customers and franchises. Just look at the fiasco they made with Star wars Battlefront 2. They ruined the game with micro transactions so hard they HAD to reverse that poo back to a more "normal" level (if you consider micro transaction in a game you already paid 50€ something normal) They rarely do discounts and if any really small ones. They are in for the money and mainly for for it. It is understandable coming from a company. But they just go way too far. If they focused more on developing good products instead of how they could add micro transaction the best way possible in their games, they would sell better and have a better image for the public.
