Hello S4S Community!!
I've always wanted the option to create a particular feeling/era within a Sims world. For example, a Roaring Twenties town complete with art deco architecture, beaded dresses, suits, music, and buy mode objects that belong to that time period. I know there was Roaring Heights for Sims 3, but I am thinking something more expansive than a stuff pack.
I would like to create a more immersive experience that:
1. Controls what randomized outfits NPCs can wear.
2. Alters existing emotion scripts * Very Happy [from High Needs] XXX is feeling so good, they could sing the gnat's whistle! * Angry [from work] Rhatz! The big man gave XXX a mean talking to for slacking at work.
3. Alters existing conversation options * Passionate Kiss becomes "Neck" * Insult becomes "Beef"
4. Possibly adds some new animations
How on Earth do I get started? I'm not necessarily committed to the 1920s specifically but how does one create a world unified under a single theme?
Thank you for reading & all your suggestions!

Hello there! This sounds like a very ambitious project.
For item 1, the NPC clothing is controlled by a little data flag that is set in each and every item of clothing. To stop the game dressing NPCs in certain clothing options you would need to default replace all of the items you want to change and set the random flag to off. This change would affect ALL worlds though, not just your custom one.
For items 2 and 3, those should be achievable with simple Text String default overrides. Again though, these would change the text for ALL Sims in ALL worlds.
Part 4 is beyond my territory, I'm afriad.
