I didnt want to post to topics so I put it into one.
1. I made this hair it turned out great but something I was wondering is how do I make it so I can recolor it and add swatches in s4s because they dont show up in game when I attempt to add them.
2. I understand for the most part converting pants should not be to much different from converting hair but I was wondering about the leg chops how do I make them.
3. All I know is it can make a difference educate me some.

1. Not sure why the swatches shouldn't show up in game - make sure they don't all have the same thumbnail colour. Could you share the .package for it? 2. It's easier to *not* do leg chops. When cloning a mesh to start from, put in the search bar 'nude' and use the male/female nude legs. There are no chops, it's just all leg. Then you add your mesh, do whatever, and it should just be s4studio_mesh_1 with 0000 cut number. 3. Appending is taking the object from one blend, and putting into another. SO, when it's says append a mesh, you gotta do this -> Go to file and click append, then find your .blend file you're appending from, open it, go to object, then import s4studio_mesh_1,2,3 (you can select multiple and append them all at the same time). Sometimes they'll be one mesh for a clothing, other times it can have a bunch of cuts (i've seen like 8, i think some have more). Hopefully that makes sense, ask any more questions you want

Do you have any idea why blender says it skipped my mesh because it has no vertex groups? Where would I be able to read up on fixing this?

Hi! Verte groups are the bones, so i'm guessing you haven't done any weight transfers ( weights or uv_1) or vertex painted your mesh. If you need more help, please share your blend and package files.

Well I go into s4s and I export the female nude bottoms and place my mesh over them in blender situate it and then I select both meshes and I go to weight transfer with these settings group as all method as nearest vertex and replace all. I click transfer weights and after I try to transfer weights blender says skipped my mesh because it has no vertex groups and thats it weights dont move at all. Blend file. I dont yet have a package file for these pants.

I'm seeing the blend and there's no weights on your mesh. So you're missing something from the tutorial. Please read it carefully and follow all the steps. edit: is the mesh group you're transfering from in the blend you sent me? Because there's nothing there... you have to append it your blend and follow the tutorial.

I have appended the blend and attempted to transfer weights again this time weights did change and the obj has the s4s vertex and such but the uv maps did not change and the weights look off to me. Updated blend file.

The blend is the same one you sent me before. Are you sure it's the correct file? if it is then you're appending and using the wrong mesh to transfer. You're only importing the foot.. you have to append and use the whole bottom. Clone a nude bottom mesh and export it. Use it for the transfer, both weight and uv_1.

I decided to try something different by giving the mesh with no vertex groups its own vertex group I did the weight transfer but now it has no uv maps and is missing a lot just if you or some one else could please take a look its getting me sort of depressed and discouraged thank you to whom ever may have a big enough heart to help this freaking ditz out. Blend file

I'm seeing your last blend and the weights are perfectly fine now so they transferred correctly. i really don't understand what you mean by this "I decided to try something different by giving the mesh with no vertex groups its own vertex group" There's no other way around it but following the weight transfer tutorial. And that's the end of it, that's the only way of transferring weights so doing anything that is not in the tutorial is a no no.
I can't really guess what you did to the mesh to end up with no uv. The only way is to manually delete it from the list. So i suggest you go back to a previous version, like the one that is on this thread and do the transfer again (deleting all bones before it).
After this, you're only missing the uv_1 that i linked earlier.
