My cc's been broken and I've really wanted to fix it, and usually just using the batch fix option fixes all my problems. However I downloaded the newest version of wishes and I cannot find the seasons batch fix option for the life of me! Is anyone else having this issue? Am I just looking over it completely???

There currently is no batch fix for seasons. The option to manually tag CAS items as “Hot” or “Cold” was introduced however.

We will take a look at the best way to batch-fix CC items for Seasons. We are planning on updating Studio with something that will make the tagging process easier.

I imagine that a batch fix for this can’t be easy. Maybe something like all CAS items tagged as swimwear are hot, while items tagged as outwear/jackets are cold?

adamular this is what I was thinking about when I saw how tags work. I thought that the only 2 categories that would work for batch fix, and only for hot weather tag are swimming suits full, top and bottom, tank tops and brassieres, and sandals and flip-flops.

It will probably be something like that yes.

Wouldn't it be possible to make a batch fix for cold weather and one for hot weather and than the user can put all the cc they want tagged for hot/cold into a folder and be able to add the tag to all the items in this folder ? Would make it more customizable I guess. Otherwise I can see townies running around in swim wear if you don't disable the things for random.

Studio can do that. However, how will you sort things into the right folders? Wouldn't you need to go through the items one by one to decide which folder to put them in? If you're going through the items one by one, you can tag them as you go and wouldn't need a batch fix. When we first heard about the season tags, I thought of a batch-fix process like you're talking about, but when thinking about it, a method like that doesn't seem very helpful. If people want it, it can be done, but it seems the other way would result in fixed CC without any need for one-by-one package sorting, and that is more consistent with the point of a batch fix (to avoid anyone having to spend hours of time on tedious tagging processes). Do many people have things already sorted into seasonal folders just as part of how they do things?

I just thought that especially for the people who want to batch fix their own created CC it would be quite handy since you mostly know what would be appropriate for cold/hot weather and than you can just choose all these items and throw them into a older instead of having to go through each of them one by one.
If it isn't to much extra work maybe you can include both options? One for tagging all things in a specific folder for cold/hot weather and an auto-tag option that tags based on the ideas you shared above?

It might be cool to have hair, eyebrows, makeup, beards, skins etc. as possible cc to be fixed for hot AND cold weather. I mean, you don't lose your skin when it's cold, your bodyhair etc. ... With clothing, everyone might have different tastes. ... Well, it won't be easy to find a way. I'm already sorting manuallly, but maybe I should wait. If you find an easy solution I'd regret all this time with my thousands of items. To have all swimwear fixed for hot weather would result in having people roam around in bathing clothes like the "erratic" city living folks (except the wrestler hat). And you don't usually walk around the world in your bikini when it's summer and hot (some might, of course), but only when you're at the ocean or at a swimming pool or in your garden... I'm sure you will find a perfect solution as always. But I don't envy you for the task! :-S ... Thanks for your precious work!!!

Well, ofc, I don't want to tell anyone what to do. I will say we plan to put out some method for batch fixing. People who have thousands of items to tag may want to consider holding off on manual tagging to see if they can save themselves hours of tedious work. Right now, we're thinking of adding options that would allow people to select the type of season tag fix they want to run. It may take a bit longer to get something like that into Studio because it will require more UI. But, in the end, it may be worth going that route because I think people are going to have different ideas about the best way to go about fixing their stuff. A one-size-fits-all solution would be quicker to do but may leave a lot of people unsatisfied with the results.

Yes, you have to open each package separately. Candy doesn't have the My CC feature yet.
