still a weight issue. try deleting all vertex groups and redoing your transfer. if you need to, clone a new package and import your blend file into it

select each one from the list and delete them individually by pressing the minus button.

I tried that and re-did the weights with a nude top as suggested and it still has the line :/

Sorry for the delay on seeing your files. i haven't had time to open blender on this machine, i'm always using the one at work to reply or my phone. This particular item requires, in my opinion, a weight more meticulous that would be to apply each bone manually to each nail. That is to avoid the following issue: As you can see the tip of the nail is getting the bone meant for the other nail. Weight transfer is like that, it isn't exact it just guess which bone should be applied to what and sometimes can mixed up stuff. (Please read THIS TUTORIAL from step 12 to learn how to manually apply bones) for your case there's another fix i suggest so keep reading In your case since the weight is already transferred and the issue is only present on a few nails (i think 2??) then you should only fix those specific nails instead of re doing everything. First, you should properly set up your blender to view and select the nail. From the bottom down bar: change to solid mode, and disable "limit selection". Press B to open the side bar and reduce the camera view start to the lowest number 0.001. You need to remove the extra bone on that pinky nail. Right select one of the vertices that was showing up with read parts in edit mode. You'll see from the sidebar weights list that there's two bones present. The ring bone is the one you should remove. So pick it from the side bar by clicking on the bone name and it will be automatically picked from the vertex groups list. Now select ALL the nail (since there's not only 1 vertice having this issue) and then click REMOVE from below the vertex groups list box. You'll have to check in weight paint mode by going through the bones if you see any weight bleeding to the other nail. If you have any specific questions let me know.

I followed the steps you wrote and it still seems to be a problem? Maybe I missed a step? My updated blend file

I would re read what i wrote and follow that again because.. the blend i'm seeing isn't right. The pinky's vertices that had double bones have none.. when only the ring bone should have been deleted.. not all bones. And the nail next to it has no bones at all, when it shouldn't have been touched at all.

Okay, I redid it. Checked it in CAS but now it looks more obvious and worse?

There's a cheek bone now.... This is somehow giving you more issues that one should have and i don't really know what else to explain since it's all in the tutorials and links i shared you. I would select the nail you're having issues with, and delete all bones attach to it. Then only assign the bone you need.
