I don't know where else to post this, but I was wondering if anyone wants to collaborate on some content.
I am in a degree for computer animation so I am aware of how to make clean meshes, however, I've been taking a break and won't start again until after the move (December). During that time I've done a lot of meshes, partly for practice, partly to try to put a set together that I've been envisioning since S3. Thankfully with the inclusion of Mac in S4S, I've been able to start trying to get things in game.
Unfortunately, this is where the gaps in my knowledge come in, because I haven't taken further classes and have been struggling (trial and error) with weights, transfers, finding the issue in UV maps, and specific things that need to be changed in S4S to get the file to work correctly.
Is there anyone out there who doesn't want to mesh, but understands how to get it in the game? Or someone who likes to texture but doesn't do the other things? Ideally, a trio would be awesome. If I could get in contact with a texture artist (self-proclaimed or otherwise) and more importantly someone who can run the mesh through studio and get it properly in game...My whole year would be made. I have no problem meshing for other sets.
I understand this is a place to ask for help on specific issues, but I'm frustrated running an issue through the forum to find out the solution a month later, or jumping from one issue to the next to the next, or not actually finding the answer. If someone can spare the time to "teach" with some specific content/issues, It would be much appreciated as well...
