Issues with Sims wearing CC shoes while changing into towel

Hi everyone,
First of all, please correct me if this is posted on the wrong sub-forum. I've spent some time trying to figure out which place this should be posted but I feel like this is the right place. Once again, please correct me if i'm wrong.
Okay so, recently i've discovered a bug in which my sims and also NPC sims wear CC shoes while changing into towels both after showering at the gym, and when they're going to the sauna.
I tried applying the batch fix by S4S (Disallow CC for Shower, Disallow CC for Default Garment), but it didn't work, also batch fix all my CCs to the latest Seasons batch fix and nothing worked. Then I removed the problematic CC after figuring out which pair of shoes is it, but it only changed to another pair of problematic CC shoes.
I finally figured it out by reading into the codes detail (from Warehouse tab) of the CC package and found out that those shoes are somehow tagged as Uniform: Uniform_Towel even though the Uniform category is not ticked. And that I needed to remove those tags manually from each swatch/CAS part.
My question is, is there perhaps any easier way to remove the tags without going through each and every CAS part of the CC?
Also what are "Tags" actually for in the game? What makes it different than the other categories? Are those automatically assigned when you make a CC?
