I have a question, probably a silly one. If I take an object, let's say a bed, and decide to edit it in Blender: I change the shape of the pillows, the shape of the headboard, the side of the feet, or the way the cover falls, etc. Changes without cutting the mesh or adding, just manipulating the original mesh. After I'm done do I need to re-rigged the manipulated bed with the original EA one or does the rigging and tuning stay put all through this manipulation?
Thanks in advance.

hi! If you're just molding the mesh without adding extra vertices, extruding or anything of that sort then, yes. there's no necessity in fiddling with the bones. you should keep yourself inside the boundaries of the original mesh. particularly, blanket/pillows/mattress. if not the animations might look off.
