hello all, i have a problem with a underwear, this show over all pants. i try  edit the sortlayer of pants and underwear, with the all the values from sortlayer tutorial, the displaysort too, but nothing work, what i can do? ibb.co/d2iNGp |

hi! I suggest you share the blend and package file of your item if you want someone to take a look.
it's very hard to understand from the picture.. but your underwear seems like is it's own mesh and it's outside the pants. sort layer usually is for painted into the skin items. even if you edit that, the mesh itself it's still outside the pants.. at least that's what it looks like to me.

I'm on mobile rb but I'm not sure what is it exactly that you want me to testy or if you're already swing it in game. is it valid what I mentioned before? am I correct? if the underwear is an actual mesh that goes over the shorts then you can't fix it with sorting. you'll need to move it inside the shorts. there's nothing else to do in my opinion.

sorry my mistake, my english is very bad, let me explain a bit more.
yes i want put the underwear inside the shorts but i dont know how doit, or if is posible doit with sims studio (i was thinking this was posible only set some sorting values and post the clothes for you see if the values are correct. but since you say with sort layer no is the way to deal this, i dont know what do >.<)

Hey Quarzo. The sort layer will only affect how the 'texture' is sorted - for example so that there wouldn't be overlap from jeans texture onto shoes. I can see from your image that the underwear has its own mesh, it is not painted onto the skin.  You would need to learn how to edit a mesh if you wanted to fix this. OR you could create a 'painted on' underwear that would go underneath more easily. I recommend this if you haven't made cc before. For example I have made this painted on underwear set that you can wear under other clothes easily. The difference is it won't look as 3D as the meshed one in your picture.  |
