I'm trying to convert a sims 2 window to sims 4 and have followed the tutorial exactly up to importing the mesh. I've done this once before and ran into the same issue but forgot how I fixed it. I've made sure the cut numbers are correct and tested various cut numbers just in case. Even if I apply texture it's still a weird red and white on the frame. I kept some of the meshes from the window I am using as a convert such as shadows etc, but even if I delete everything except just the window frame I am trying to convert it still has this issue. hi! you need to check that the number of groups, order, names and their cuts match the original EA object. your window is set to the shadow cut. that's why it has its texture applied.
