Memphis84. Thank you. Please keep me posted. In the meantime, I went to all the folders and deleted like you suggested and am reinstalling. Thank you.

Memphis84. Thank you. Please keep me posted. In the meantime, I went to all the folders and deleted like you suggested and am reinstalling. Thank you. Well i talked with andrew about this to make sure if it would be actually plausible for it to be the source of the problem, and it turned out it wasn't possible that this caused the problem. Let me know if my other suggestion works for you, if not do as LuvMySimz said, and make sure your entire system is up 2 date, by running Windows Update, also your video drivers would help a ton. In all my years on the pc (since the late 80's) there hasn't been one problem on it, that i couldn't solve, so if this doesn't work please come back and let me know, and i'll even dive deeper into this problem But i am pretty confident, that the solution will show it self eventually :-)

Memphis84 and orangemittens, completely uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help. I even went into regedit and completely deleted Sims 4 Studio and the error still exists.

LuvMySimz and Memphis84, my computer is up to date but I'll check again. I didn't mention that since I had started using the app, it would crash a lot. It would just shut down on me. Also, I would get the same error message all throughout the time I've been using the software but I would relaunch and it would work again for a while and I had to do it again and again. This time restarting doesn't help. I have to say that I'm not a new user, I've used this software in the past with no issues. This is strange. I think this is an excellent program when it works. I'm just frustrated. Thank you all for your help.

Hi lacey, the situation you're describing and the error you are receiving together suggest to me that the problem you're having with Studio is a symptom of an underlying issue with your system. Googling the error code produced a list of reports from people who received this error while performing various tasks ranging from running an SQL server to updating their OS. The answers those people received varied, but all were based on the assumption that something was wrong with the computer. I recommend contacting the person who maintains your computer to have them take a look.
