So, I've been seeing a bunch of script mods lately but also a lot of people reporting them to have crashed their Sims 4 game. I would like to download some script mods, but am afraid the game might have a somewhat 'fatal' crash, and delete a bunch of my progress (yeah, someone said that happened to them...). Do any of you use/have script mods enabled? If so, have they caused any bad crashes, and do you think they are safe for use? Thanks!

Hi! I've only used SOME script mods but like everything you download or fixing X you should always do a backup of your files. Specifically mods, trays, saves and screenshots. I do this regularly specially while testing new cc or mods.

I use and make lots of script mods. So far no one has ever complained of a crash, just that after an update they might not work. As Inabadromance said, saved back-ups are the best protection.
