Hey, hopefully everything is going well for everyone else. Anyways this started happening a few days ago and I have really had it, it is ticking me off if that was not obvious. Anyways when I put down flooring this new thing started appearing where it will get rid of certain tiles I have already put down when I try adding to it and it is really annoying. With no set pattern of where, when, and how this glitch happens, I was unable to find a work around and am stuck getting the hell annoyed out of me when building things. I don't know if there was another update I was unaware of and that broke this or if a setting I have or mod I have is doing this. Anyways super annoying and I need a fix or a mod that will get rid of this thing happening when building. I don't even know what to call this glitch at the moment so don't even know what to google for to find answers. Please help, thank you!

Have you tried to repair your game yet? If not, open Origin and right click on your Sims 4 game „repair“ I have, no luck the issue was still there.

Any other suggestions to fix this? I have already tried repairing and even uninstalling and reinstalling. Not so sure what else I could do about this little bug/glitch.

If you have done all the cleaning and repairing, then try the 50-50 method by taking out you mods and put them back in by batches. Is the floor that you're trying to place a CC? does only this one give you the glitch or others too? Have you tried to take out all your mods and try without? If it works when taking out all your mods, then you would know that the glitch is mod related. the 50-50 method could help you to find the culprit. When you do this, always exit the game without saving. Does the game give out an LE file? if so, post the text file here. It is not CC, that is why I am assuming it may be an issue with the game it's self. The flooring is from spa day and it is not just that particular flooring either, it happens out of random to other flooring as well sometimes. This is what I meant by it is kind of random and so hard to pinpoint just what is causing it. I will add though it seems to only go on when putting it down in open air spaces or within a fenced area, however it never seems to happen when I put flooring down manually in houses, so this makes it even more odd really as well as strengthens my suspicion that it is game caused. I rather not have to resort to the 50-50 method since that for me is as bad as uninstalling and reinstalling XD But if it persists and I can't find a work around I will do so. Thanks for the suggestions. Plus it does not happen all the time, so with my luck I could end up doing that and it decides to not happen until later on.
